About the Founder
My name is Caitlyn wolf
I started learning Spanish at 17, thinking I’d only take two high school classes. But after meeting someone from Medellín, Colombia, I was inspired to dive deeper. Traveling there at 18, I quickly realized my classes hadn’t prepared me to truly speak or understand Spanish, so I dedicated myself to studying intensely throughout my time in undergraduate and graduate school as well as went on to study abroad a total of 2 years in Spain. Having experienced the challenges of becoming fluent, I’m passionate about helping others build the confidence to use Spanish in everyday life. When I’m not working on CaféConexión, you’ll find me playing pickleball, connecting with the locals in other countries, or dancing salsa and bachata.
